Exploring our website is a perfect way to discover more about our approach to education and what learning looks like for a Red Fox Community School student.

Our Home page not only provides a statement about what we believe, Fox Tracks is a recap of happenings in the classrooms and the “A Day at Red Fox” videos help you feel as if you were with us on some of our adventures.

Our Curriculum page provides a more in-depth look at what project based and experiential learning looks like and how we foster focus, stamina and cooperation while instilling a desire and appreciation for learning.

After you have had an opportunity to explore our website, we invite you to reach out so we can help you discover even more about our philosophy and our core values. We would love to answer your questions and hear about how your child learns and what your definition of success is for them.

Please email karen@redfoxschool.org or call 802-367-3939.

4 Step Application Process

Apply - After you have gotten to know us, we invite you to submit an application through TADS. The TADS online application includes a parent questionnaire, a comment form that should be filled out by your child’s current teacher, and an application fee of $50.00, which is able to be paid online. If you do not already have an account with TADS you will need to create a username and login in order to submit an application.

Visit - Once we have reviewed your application, we will coordinate a student visit day. This is an opportunity for your family to ask more questions and for the prospective student to get a sense of a day at Red Fox Community School. It is also an opportunity for our talented teachers to observe the prospective student engaged in learning and authentically interacting with peers.

  • Kindergarten prospective students spend the morning until snack in the Owls classroom.

  • 1st grade prospective students spend a ½ day in the Owls classroom.

  • 2nd - 3rd grade prospective students spend a full day in the Hawks classroom.

  • 4th - 5th grade prospective students spend a full day in the Eagles classroom.

Connect with a Parent - Current and former Red Fox Community School parents are a great resource for prospective families. We would be happy to connect with someone in our community.

Communicate - Throughout this process we will be available to answer questions and partner with you to determine if Red Fox Community School meets your educational goals and dreams. Approximately two weeks after receiving your completed application and your child’s visit, we will share options for enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year.
