Affording Red Fox
Town Tuition Vouchers:
Families in Sandgate, Stratton and Winhall are able to use town tuition vouchers for tuition at Red Fox.

The Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union requires two forms to be completed in order for families to receive the town tuition voucher. The Tuition Request Form must be completed yearly. The Declaration of Residency needs to be completed by families new to the area or who live in Winhall. Both of these forms are available at BRSU Tuition forms.

Financial Aid:
Red Fox Community School is committed to creating an inclusive community that reflects the socioeconomic diversity of our communities. Our financial aid program is need based and provides financial assistance to qualified families. The program has a limited budget and while the school cannot guarantee aid, we endeavor to provide aid to the widest socio-economic range of students our funds can afford. To equitably distribute funds, families apply through TADS.
We believe that the family holds the primary responsibility for the financial support of education. We ask families to explore their resources when applying for financial aid so that the available funds may be distributed fairly and where they are most needed.
Returning Students financial aid applications are due by February 15, 2023.

The Financial Aid Application becomes available online January 10, 2023.

Once you pay the non-refundable processing fee of $45 and submit the application, Red Fox Community School will receive the results of the analysis.

Award letters are sent to returning families on or about April 1st and new families after April 15th. Application can only be processed and awards given once all required materials are received.

Aid is based on need as established by TADS. TADS provides a framework through which household need can be measured fairly and equitably. A committee determines how to apportion the available aid funds among eligible families. Returning students take priority.

Please read before applying:
TADS estimates a family’ ability to pay school costs through a formulaic analysis of 2021 income, expenses, and family assets.

Applications are required annually, and awards are based on financial need.

Both custodial parents must complete a TADS application and all required documents in order for a family to be considered for a financial aid package.

All financial aid information is held in the strictest confidence. Applications for aid have no bearing on admissions decisions.

The TADS financial aid must be completed and filed by February 15, 2023.
