About the event

Chinese Pole Acrobatics & Big Ball Juggling Act

Ryunosuke is an extraordinary Japanese circus artist who specializes in big ball juggling, Chinese pole acrobatics, and antipodism with puppets. Watch as Ryu takes on the fourteen-foot Chinese pole with breathtaking acrobatics, then watch a juggling act that’s so big, you won’t believe your eyes. This will be a can’t-miss performance for all ages.

Ryunosuke has had a highly successful juggling career from a young age, winning a silver medal at Japan’s Otedama Championship, and a gold medal at the MJF Junior Competition. Fascinated by the circus, he began to study all performance-based arts, and was the first Japanese man to study at the Quebec Circus School. Ryunosake performs his sensational acts at galas, circus companies, and festivals worldwide.

Join us all day for MCL’s annual Love Your Library Family Fun Day celebration on the first Saturday in February!
