All ages welcome. If registering a child, an adult family member must also register and participate.
Join Zena for a cozy morning in the SVAC studio. We will make ornaments together to hang on the tree for years to come, one-of-a-kind ceramic gifts. Hot cocoa and light snacks will keep us warm and happy while we enjoy getting our hands a little muddy.
We’ll design and create our ornaments out of clay, using cookie cutters, texturing tools, patterning tools and underglazes. No prior artistic experience needed. Just bring along a willingness to explore and to experiment. Be ready to get delighted by pleasant surprises.
Each participant can expect to make 2-3 ornaments. We will fire your ornaments in the kiln, and then you will come back to pick them up. Firing and glazing are included in the workshop price.
