About the event
Join Mo, SVAC’s Education Coordinator, for We Have a Dream Day, celebrating the words and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The day will feature a variety of arts and crafts, storytelling, songs, and movement activities inspired by Dr. King’s message. The morning will begin with gentle yoga for centering, followed by singing and movement, and a brief snack break. Students will then rotate through a series of crafting and journaling stations before participating in outdoor play (weather permitting) or indoor activities. The afternoon will offer time for reading, drawing, and the continuation of morning crafts. The day will conclude with a collaborative mural.
