MANCHESTER - Dressed in Halloween costumes, Red Fox students brought smiles, laughter, and seasonal joy to the residents of Bromley Manor, a senior living community in Southern Vermont's Green Mountains.
The students showcased their theatrical talents with an energetic performance of "Five Little Pumpkins" and engaged in heartwarming conversations about Halloween traditions past and present. Residents delighted in seeing costumes ranging from classic characters to hand-crafted creations while sharing stories of their own childhood Halloween memories from years past. The visit culminated with students presenting personalized Halloween cards to residents, exemplifying the school's commitment to fostering meaningful community connections.
"Our trip to Bromley Manor perfectly represents our belief that education extends beyond classroom walls," said Karen O'Neill Thomson, Head of School. "Through these interactions with local seniors, students experience firsthand the value of compassion, respect, and human connection. The Halloween theme created an especially magical atmosphere for both our students and Bromley Manor residents."
