“Dear Everyone,

We spent Thursday morning doing all of our prep for the Thankfulness Feast at Earth, Sky, Time Farm. Thank you so much Bonnie and Oliver for hosting us and letting us use your commercial kitchen. We also loved playing on your rope swing and trampoline.

“Last Friday morning it down poured really hard. We got drenched while we were finding macro invertebrates. Suddenly, it got dark as the night and then it started to rain. The rain got harder and harder until it started to down pour.”-Cian

“On Tuesday we went to the library. We go to the library every other Tuesday during the time we would be having Literacy. We each have a library bag that we put our library cards and books in. Aaaaaaahhhhhhh. I love going to the library.”-Addis

“We saw Pickles at outside time in Roxaboxen. We were there and she came to us.”-Matilda

“This week we came up with a game called Egg Whites. How you play is, someone is the goalie and the goalie punts the ball out into a field of two or more people. The people fight for the ball and try to score, if you score then you become goalie. It’s a lot of fun and I hope to keep playing it.”-Kelley

“This week we played a game called Egg Whites. The rules are simple. There’s a goalie and 2 to 5 players. It’s just soccer, but there is no ref, no goalie box, and no out of bounds. The goalie punts it out and the other players battle for it. IF you score, you’re the goalie, and the goalies are constantly changing. Everyone has a lot of fun with it.”-Eden

“We went to the Montshire yesterday. It was far. It was a field trip. We drove.”-Emma

“We went to the museum yesterday far away because we were studying boats. We tested 3 different shapes of boats. Each boat held different amounts of weight.”-Caleb

“We went to the Montshire Museum. We had a class about rivers and erosion. We explored the museum and found a steam table, bubbles, and other cool stuff.”-Colby

“We got a big book donation. Some were river books. I want to read them because we are learning about rivers. We have to organize them. We are doing that in piles of categories. I can’t wait to read them because I love books.”-Rebecca

“Today is my share day at school on Wednesday. We do share to tell stories. I told a story about a recipe.”-JJ

“Maeve came to school on a Friday. She’s supposed to come on Thursdays. Alley drover her. She couldn’t have walked!”-Hazel

“We were reading upstairs in the eagles with pillows.”-Ryder

“Kelley brought a mini football. It was really easy to throw. That’s why it’s so fun to play with. We played Jackpot, pass, and a game that you can’t drop it or you are out for the round. Kelley didn’t bring it today. I hope he brings it on Monday!”-Noah
