“On Monday we had our first music class. We had a lot of fun. Mowgli taught us some beats! We clapped and did a round! We did a lot of different beats. Mowgli is an amazing teacher. I’m excited to have him!”-Zooey
“This week we played Spud. In Spud one person throws the ball. Everyone runs. Spud is fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“I play DND. I am a dragon born wizard. I have a spirit fox. LTS has a DND club and Red Fox can be part of it. It’s a lot of fun.”-Nicholas
“Deb is our chef. She makes the best hot lunches. Today Deb is making cheeseburgers. Yesterday, Deb made the best mac and cheese. Hot lunch is the best.”-Charlie
“We opened dramatic play yesterday and I pretended to be a be a pig.”-Matilda
“This week we had art with Megan. We are making puppets using paper and paper mache. We are making puppets with super powers. It will be a surprise what super super powers everyone will choose.”-Cole

“We learned about Fibonacci music and it was the best math class ever. These are the numbers to the pattern: 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,27 and so on. The thing is that 1+1=2 and 2+1=3 and 3+2=5 and 3+5=8 and 8+5=13 and so on. It like we had a math curse or like the Fibonacci curse. We were watching videos of drums beating and the pattern and piano. It was awesome.”-Rebecca
“This week we learned the Fibonacci (Fi-Buh-No-Chee) sequence by adding the last number in the sequence to the current numerical total (ex:1,1,2,3,5,8,12,21,etc). Can you find the pattern? We saw some videos on Fibonacci. Did you that Fibonacci sequence is the base for almost everything, including the galaxy? The Golden Ratio (1 to 1.168) and the Golden Rectangle are exapmples of variations of the Fibonacci sequence. Well, got to go!”-Addis
“We figured out the Fibonacci sequence!! It is also called the golden ration. Karen taught it to us. She showed us a video. It was very fun because it explained life itself.”-JJ

“This week we played soccer with the Long Trail school kids. At outside time, I always play soccer and for a while, it was just me, Ryder, Gabriel and Talon, but recently more people started playing. In the last ten minutes of outside time, a lot of L.T.S kids come out and start playing. It is really fun and chaotic. I always look forward to it.”-Eden

“This Friday we have a camping trip at Merck Forest. Some people will go home after dinner and some people will stay the night. We will have a fire and we will cook hotdogs and s’mores and we will camp over. Then in the morning, we will have eggs and toast and leave. It is going to be fun.”-Colby
