Bonnie Frost
Bonnie recently moved to Vermont with her husband and daughter, as her three grown sons are off on their own adventures.
Bonnie arrives with 15 years of experience teaching at an independent progressive school in Baltimore, a nurturing environment where curiosity, creativity, and student-led exploration were the foundation of my work.
In her free time, she loves riding in old Willy’s Jeep through the woods, or walking/hiking where she's always on the lookout for mushrooms, interesting rocks, insects and plants. She's also a big fan of expressive art, especially the kind created by visionaries, musicians, and of course, children!
Practicing yoga and mindfulness is important to Bonnie in feeling grounded and intentional in her daily life. Bringing these elements of mindfulness into the classroom has proven to benefit so many of the families she has taught.
Bonnie believes learning should be joyful, hands-on, and full of wonder. She can't wait to explore and grow alongside the children and teachers at Red Fox this year!
